What Should I Do if I think I have Sleep Apnoea?
People who snore do not always have Sleep Apnoea and vice versa, however, if you have excessive daytime sleepiness or any of the other related symptoms, you should seek medical advice.
If you think you might have Sleep Apnoea, take the sleep test now. Print out your results and take them with you to discuss with your GP.

Your GP may refer you to a specialist sleep consultant or centre for a diagnostic test. This may involve an overnight stay, but sleep studies can often now be carried out in your own home.
Sleep studies are simple and non-invasive tests, they involve monitoring your breathing and oxygen levels whilst you sleep, some centres use more complex equipment which may involve additional channels being monitored such as heart rate.
