As another year passes, we thought it would be a good time to give you all an update on what has happened at ResMed since January. We would like to share with you some of the highlights we have experienced, but more importantly how our new web service can continue to make life with CPAP a better experience.

ResMed won the ARTP manufacturer’s award for a fourth year. The ARTP are the sole professional organisation in the UK for practitioners working in clinical respiratory physiology and technology. The award is judged across a variety of categories including ease of device use, product quality, reliability and training provision. It was very closely contested this time around, but ResMed’s dedication to providing a first class service to all of our customers ensured we brought the trophy home again.

This year has seen the launch of the RealSleep service from ResMed, created to assist both patients and healthcare workers alike. RealSleep aims to raise awareness of OSA and to assist in providing treatment solutions. We aim to help sleep services maximise their patient flows by assisting with sleep studies and CPAP setups, that way we minimise the NHS workload. Times are hard for the NHS, but we hope to make a difference by providing a long term cost effective therapy. We also have an expert team on the end of the phone waiting for any questions you may have as a patient, so please do not hesitate to call.

RealSleep will be holding an open day on Saturday 26th February 2011 at our offices in Abingdon. This is a great chance to learn more about your treatment and how we can help you.

On the day there will be free of
charge appointments for mask fittings and data downloads. These will need to be booked in advance.

ResMed is proud to have launched the new S9 series of CPAP and APAP devices, which match patient breathing patterns more closely than any other CPAP device available. The S9’s new climate line humidification system has all but eliminated rainout, and its sleek appearance has also won it the prestigious reddot design award!
Other recent product launches have included the Swift
FX pillows nasal mask and the Mirage SoftGel nasal mask. ResMed strive to improve standards and
